Making ADRs tomorrow, so I'd appreciate your advice on my itin for Dec 2-9... our first-ever 7 night stay :thumbsup2

We're staying at BWV for its proximity to Epcot and MGM. I also like the strategy of hitting parks the day after (or before) its EMH. We have two little ones, so park hopping isn't as easy for us.

Sat 12/2 EP + CP dinner pkg (11am arrival)
Sun 12/3 MGM (day between MGM's morn and eve EMH)
Mon 12/4 MK + MVMCP (day after MK's eve EMH)
Tue 12/5 AK (day between AK's morn and eve EMH) then Fantasmic dinner pkg at MGM
Wed 12/6 EP (day after EP's morn EMH) then MK for Spectro
Thu 12/7 ?? Any thoughts? hoping to do another CP dinner pkg in the evening
Fri 12/8 MK (day after MK's morn EMH) then DTD
Sat 12/9 EP (day after EP's eve EMH + departure at 6pm)

My fellow DISers always have great advice!! :grouphug:

No advice, but we will be there the same time! I don't think that time of year should be too crowded wherever we go, but then I've never been that time of year. I'm not worrying about EMH since we want to go to MK first and last days and figure we'll go to AK on the Christmas party day since AK closes pretty early. We don't have hoppers. Here's our plan...

Dec.3 Magic Kingdom, supper at LTT
Dec.4 AK, then MVMCP
Dec.5 EP with PSB breakfast
Dec.6 MGM and 1900 PF
Dec.7 MK and Chef Mickey supper

I do wonder if 1 Candlelight Processional will be plenty for you- I've never been to it but heard it's not real entertaining for little ones.

Looks like mine!! :rotfl2: Great minds think alike!!

The only thing -- you may want to take off a day just to relax. If you have 2 little ones they may be pooped out from going to the parks everyday.

In addition, since you are doing the MVMCP on Monday night you may want to sleep in the next day depending on how late you plan on staying at the MVMCP. You may want to take it easy on the 5th and go to the AK on the 7th -- you could still do another CP on the 7th as the AK closes early anyways. (Just a thought!!)

That's an excellent thought! We'll see how long the kids want to stay at MVMCP and play it by ear. Having a "Plan B" is always good. And Dec 7 is also a good day to hit AK.

How little are your little ones? If they are like mine you might want to buck the trend and do some morning EMH parks. I know my kids will be up early and I'd hate to miss that first hour with less crowds. You could always hop to another park later in the day if it gets crowded. We are going to avoid parks with evening EMH like the plague but will hit AK and MK on early EMH days only to leave either right before or after lunch if the crowds become unmanagable, which I am doubting at that time of year.

DD6 and DS almost 3 at the time of our trip. We've done the early EMH before, but getting there on time was always a chore. They usually wake up around 8am... unless we do the waking.
