Here's my questions.

In 2005, I was able to make a reservation at Ft Wildreness Cabins and saved a ton of $$ using my dd's AP (that I later purchased at the MCO airport upon arrival) At check-in, they barely even looked at it after I asked if did they need to see it.

Has anyone done this lately?
Can you still use a child's AP for a reservation?

Would love to do this again...Instead of using a AAA discount rate.

Thanks!

No, an adult Annual Pass is required for the reservation. Think of it this way, a 3-9 year old cannot actually book a reservation. It stands to reason that their Annual Pass would not be eligible for a Passholder discount. IMO, Disney did not envision people trying to use children's passes for the passholder discounts so in the past wording and rules for discount eligibility did not specify that an adult pass was required. When they implemented the "Passholder Best Rate" program about a year or so ago, they closed the loophole that allowed people to use the child's AP and even though the best rate program is no longer in existence, the more specific rules remain.

Exactly... which is only fair when you think about it. ;) And we don't want the Best Rate Program back :scared1:

Only an Adult AP, and the previous poster is correct. We surely DO NOT want Best Rate back. :sad2:
