Can DVC members still free valet park if not staying on property?

Free valet is only offered at the DVC resorts that offer it. You do not get free valet at the other non-DVC resorts anytime. I believe you can get it at DVC resorts anytime though...not sure... My DH refuses to valet park anywhere!

I wanted to look around AKL on my own (considering add ons). Can I just show my DVC card and valet or must I have a reason to be there like dining?
