We're going to DTD our first night, and I would really like to have these for our trip. I have heard they used to sell them... Anyone know if they still do? I have also heard that the 5 & 10 at MGM sells them, but we will be there closer to the end of our trip. Can anyone confirm what I have "heard"??? Or know any other place to pick them up?

Thanks,
Having last minute panic attacks:rolleyes:

Yes, they're in the back of the Christmas Store. We got ours a few weeks ago.

We didn't get any of the rumored special attention by wearing them. Because they somewhat resemble CM badges, I encountered irriated guests trying to get a question answered most often. They got even more irritated when I had to explain I didn't work there.

I always enjoy wearing my Dan one. I have lost a few over the years and I feel lost without it. :teeth: It is nice to hear the CM's sometimes call you by name as you get on a ride or stop to ask a question or talk to them. I will have to remember the DTD location, always got mine at 5 & 10.

Will try to get get one for DW and I on our upcoming trip.I never had one but would like to get one. What is cost?Dan are you spaeaking of 5&10 at MGM? Thanks::yes:: :wave2: :goodvibes :cool1:

The first thing we did when we arrived a couple of weeks ago, was buy our dd's GOH badges at the Day's of Christmas Store in downtown disney.

The cost is $5.50.

They got called by their first name a lot and were always amazed that CM's knew their names.
It was a real treat when the talking tree at Animal Kingdom came up to them and called them by their name. They were awed that the tree could talk let alone know their name.

The only thing about the badges now is that they are all red with Mickey on them. You used to be able to get all different characters and colors.

I would recommend the Disney Christmas Store in DTD. At the end of October, I needed to exchange an "Allison" for "Alison" and the machine in the 5 and 10 was broken. We asked when it would be repaired and the CM said they were waiting for parts. We asked how long, and he replied at least a month!!! When we finally got to DTD at the end of our trip, it only took about 10 minutes for the CM to craft the proper spelling.

Guess you can figure out one of the things in the Christmas stockings!

For the information and taking time to share it I appreciate it.::yes:: :wave2:

Will they still engrave your city/state on them? All my kids have them in their memory boxes (from their first WDW trips). I would like my 9 month old to get one like the others have.
