We just got back from Windsor Hills and had a great experience. This was our first time renting and we were a bit nervous. Thanks to all for your advice because it worked out just great.

The townhouse was clean, comfy, and well equipped. The kitchen was great for preparing our gourmet meals (OK so we only ate cereal, donuts, sandwiches, and heated some leftover pizza....but we COULD have made some actual meals if we wanted too! :rotfl: )

It was very handy having the washer/dryer and I loved coming home with almost no dirty laundry.

We used our splashpool and only made it to the main pool once during our stay, but we did have an absolute blast there. Everyone was really friendly.

The shortcut was great too.

Sounds wonderful! we are headed down in september. We are renting ours from mickeysvilla's I think it is. Do u mind my asking who ur renter was? Its hard to get a idea of what places are what on tripadvisor because everyone rents from someone different.

Sorry. I should have included it. The renter was Paul Mayewski. He responded to my inquiry through windsorhillsrent.com and he had more pictures and information on his website.

Paul was great to work with as he had excellent response time and information on all of my emailed questions.

What sealed the deal is my 8 year old dd loved the stripes!

Everytime I hear about a good rental at windsor hills I save it in my disney file so I dont forget just in case one has dates booked and so on. It looks like a nice townhome. My kids are so excited to get down there that its just driving us all crazy! I think I will make that paper chain thing like I saw someone on here recommended so they can get a visual. But anyway it sounds like Windsor will be perfect for us as well. My son has sever food allergies so now we can cook and save a lot of worry. Disney didnt have anything with a kitchen under 260 and that was wilderness and I would have had to add on a golf cart for 50 a day . Or Saratoga which for 5 people is 400! Not that I wouldnt pay it if I could but with 3 kids I would rather spend the money else where. And the townhomes looks as nice as anything disney has. Thanks 4 the link!

Thansk for the review! Glad you had a great trip!

ps. Cinderella73 -- I did a paper chain for the first time this year -- our 5th annual trip. I put it in my 5 year old's bedroom. Every morning he would come into my bedroom with a "link" and put it on my nightstand and say "mommy can you come count the days with me?". It was adorable. (But I will admit that when we got down to the last 10 days or so the visual reminder was a bit TOO much for him.)
