Can you split up a return ticket with SW ?

i have a return flight booked for our party. Is it possible now to split it? I have 2 members that want to take the return flight on a different day? I don't want to cancel the entire flights because we booked at $62 and the new flights are much more.

we are all taking the same flight back but the 2 are taking a flight back 1 day early. Is this possible?

I believe the way it works is that you can cancel the 2, receive credits from SW, and then rebook them at whatever is the going rate for the new flight. You can use the credits but you may have to pay more if the price for the new flight is higher.

Call them. They can at least do the cancellations over the phone if not the new bookings.

Yes they can cancel the flight for those who want to change but you will not be able to keep your same price. You will pay whatever the booking rate is today.

If you go to Iflyswa.com, click on View Or Change Your Flight. You put your reservation # in, and it will pull up all passengers associated with that reservation. Click on the two that want to change, then it will let you choose another flight. If there is any difference in the cost of the fare, it will let you know at that time.

I just did this for our upcoming flight - we decided to take an earlier flight to Disney. It was very easy - and actually, the new flight was a few dollars cheaper.

it doesn't let me select individual flights it applies changes for all of us or none of us. So i hope to call them and cancel the return portion. the 2 passengers have funds to apply towards the higher flights. so i could rebook the return flights and use the extra credit under a different confirmation #
