We are going to WDW with our DD15 and her friend in Feb and April. I am wondering if you can share the DDE. I am trying to figure out if I can let my DD use the DDE card. Thanks in advance for any info! :goodvibes

I have been asked to show my ID at several restaurants when I present the DDE. Also, since the card is good on Alcoholic Beverage discounts, I think only adults are supposed to present the card.

I don't know about the age issue, but when you get a DDE card, you can get a free companion card. For example, my husband and I each have one. So, getting a second card shouldn't be a problem as long as her age isn't one.

The second card, at least when I called, had to be issued to an adult.

My husband and I have them, one in each of our names. Maybe it is only supposed to be issued to an adult, but they never asked the age of the person who would be using the second card. If they are concerned about alcohol, they would card the person anyway, so I don't see how that could be an issue.

Thanks everyone! It's nice to know that you can get a second card. :goodvibes
