I was thinking of trying out Trails End Buffet and then hopefully seeing Wishes at MK after dinner.

Am I imagining this or is there somewhere along FW,like a beach or something, where we could see the MK fireworks aftere dinner?

What about the Hayride? Does anyone know when it runs and if you can see the fireworks from it?

I've been to WDW 30 plus times but never been to FW.I've heard great things about the buffet and the hayride, but don't know much about either! We'd like to try something new this trip!

Any help would be appreciated! :)

Thanks y'all!!!

You can see the higher fire works from the beach at FW - not the lower pyrotechnics and no music.

We sat at the tables by the boat dock and watched twice. You can wait awhile and watch the electric parade also.

We drove our golf cart out to the beach once, but that is not allowed anymore.

You can see quite a bit of the show as there are many large shells, but its not like being at MK.

Here's our secret ;)

We grab a couple of beach chairs off the beach, and walk all the way down to the Right (past the volleyball nets) to where the beach stops. It's dark down there and very quiet - no other people around. We get a beautiful view of the fireworks, and if the wind is blowing our direction we can even hear the music! It's like having our own private show! :teeth:

Thank you for sharing a great tip.We will do this sounds very romantic and cool.::yes:: :wave2:

Rhonda thank you SO MUCH...this is where I was thinking I'd "heard" about!!! Thanks for sharing...we''ll take flashlights too !

Now I have another question...we're going to Trails End for dinner...we're not staying on property this trip so we'll be driving in....WHERE should we park to go eat? Several years ago ,we drove out by FW,turned around out there actually.... anyway it seemed like it was way far away from a parking lot(?) to where the Pioneer Hall etc is located...or am I remembering wrong?!? :)

Is there a gate guard....do I tell him we're eating at Trails Inn and he'll tell us where to go?

Do y'all know if the hayride will be running next week? How long is the ride? Could we ride the early hayride (7pm I think) then eat then walk down to the beach for Wishes at 10pm....does this sound like a good plan to y'all or too much?!?! Would it be better if we just planned dinner and the walk to beach to watch Wishes?

Questions! Questions! I sound like a "WDW newbie" ...LOL! ...but I AM when it comes to FW!!!:teeth:

Thanks again!!!

You're right about the parking lot - it's a long way from Pioneer Hall. You'll have to park, then take an Internal bus to get to Trail's End.

I would suggest just taking the boat over from MK around 5:30, then eat at Trail's End, go on the 7pm Hayride, then hang around til Wishes at 10. After that, just take the boat or bus back to MK! The marina is just a few steps from Trail's End.

Thanks for the help...I'm looking forward to checking out FW next week!!!
