Can you see the fireworks from boardwalk resort

Was wondering if anyone out there has stayed at the Boardwalk resort? What you thought and if you could see the Epcot or MGM fireworks from there? Thinking of visiting next year and thought all the fun in the evenings there would be neat?? Thanks

Actually, I was wondering the same thing...the Disney Reservations line didn't know!

We've stayed in 1 bedrooms at the Villas the past 3 years:

We had a 4th floor room over the quiet pool in 2000 and had a view of ToT and the Fantasmic fireworks

In 2001 & 2002, we were on the driveway side on the 3rd or 4th floor (standard view) and could see the fireworks from Illuminations and even hear the music. We could see the top of the American Adventure straight ahead above the treetops, so that was the direction we were facing.

We've had rooms at the Villas that faced the Boardwalk itself. Pretty much in the center of the buiidling. We could see not only fireworks from Epcot (the high ones, not the stuff at lake level) and also the fireworks in the distance from MK (I assume the ones over the castle).

Stayed in July here ,have great video of Epcot fireworks over ESPN club and Magic Kingdom fireworks over the lake oppposite during a fantastic evening storm.
