Can you see parades from Tony's ?

We have never been to Tony's. Wondering how easy it is to get a table by the window and if one can see the afternoon parade or SM from there? Where exactly is it on Main St?

We ate dinner at Tony's last September. We asked for a table on the outside patio so we could see Spectromagic. We got a table right on the rail all the way to the left (if you are facing the door going in.) It was a nice view but you can not see the lower parts of the parade (characters walking around, etc..) You can see a bit of it inside the glassed in area if you are right near the window too but the people on the patio may block you a bit. We did have to wait like 1/2 an hour for the table even though we had PS-it was packed in there!

We once sat on Tony's porch in the rocking chairs and watch the parade. so many do this that it gets crowed. Very few tables near the windows you just get lucky. Good luck

Your best bet is to sit on the porch, I think a table by the window you would be blocked by people on the porch. It is a partial view as previously mentioned. You can see the floats. We watched an afternoon parade from here in Sept. We were the only family on the porch. It was nice and relaxing, and we are not parade crazy anyway, if we see it fine, if we don't fine too. We don't enjoy all the jockeying for position!

Thanks for the info! A table on the porch sounds like a great idea. Even if we just have a limited view of the parade, we'll be able enjoy the festive atmosphere on Main St.

We ordered our food just before the start of SpectroMagic. I then took my DS outside on the porch, put him on my shoulders and we enjoyed the whole parade (though my shoulders got a bit tired)....The food came to the table as the parade was finishing (although we would've been better off if it hadn't - it was not good!).

What about sitting on the porch during the character lunch? Is that an option? I would think the characters on the porch might draw attention from people not eating at Tony's, so the seating for the character lunch might be inside only.
