Can you see Illuminations from 5th Floor of Dolphin?

I read one post that the 5th floor east wing does have at least some renovated rooms. How would the view of Illuminations be from this floor, or do I need to go higher?

in a renovated room back in November and could see the higher fireworks and flames from our balacony. Could not see the really low ones but could feel the "shock-waves" from some of the big one. It was great to watch this in the evening. You could even hear the music but could not make any actual words. I'm sure another floor or two up would help but they were only working on the 7th floor when we were there the week before Thanksgiving.

Most of illuminations are low effects. The ONLY thing you'll see are some of the higher fireworks. Still nice but you're really just seeing some fireworks NOT illuminations.

Would it be like watching them from the beach at CBR ... or would you actually see "more" from the Dolphin? As well, is there someplace within the hotel that anyone staying there could go to get a good view of Illuminations? We're considering the Dolphin for next January and knowing we could see Illuminations from somewhere within the hotel would be an extra reason to stay there.
