Ok, that's probably the wrong term. Right now I use the AOL browser simply to read my email and I like the fact that it saves the email to my computer. Well, that and it has all my bookmarks in it that I'm too lazy to move to Firefox and IE.
I don't like using www.aol.com to read the email because it doesn't save it to my computer. Or at least I haven't found a way to.
So, if I switch to gmail or some other email address like that where you read the email on a website, can you save the email FOREVER on their website or in your computer somewhere?
I finally found a program that simply moves all my existing AOL saved email, my 100s of favorites & filing cabinet & I could get rid of the AOL browser.

2 other things I really like about the AOL browser for my email is that it does a really good job of filtering spam compared to others I've seen. And I like that it does not automatically download attachements. You tell it to download if you want to d/l it. I have 2 senior citizens who are constantly sending me attachements for things that can be viewed on sites like youtube without having to download. They also always have viruses & I don't want to get viruses from them.
The thought of having to change my email address everywhere kind of stinks though. I've had that @aol.com forever.
