Can you return from apple.com in the stores?

Waiting to see if the old refurb 8GB Nano comes back on for $99. In the meantime, considering getting a 16GB touch "just in case." Would prefer DS not have the touch (and save the $50) but want to get him one. Won't make sense to get the Touch and hope for the Nano if I have to pay to ship the other back.

They did get the 8GB back in on Turkey Day. I had previously bought the 16GB also just in case and then ordered the 8GB Thursday. I called Apple and they said it was up to the store if they wanted to take it back. If you do order the 16, don't open it. They will charge a 10% restocking fee to return it. I didn't really get a clear answer if I would have to pay return shipping on the 16GB or not. The girl seemed new and wasn't really sure about the shipping. I am thinking about calling back in to see what they say. Hths!
