I couldn't find curtains for dd's bedroom so I had the bright idea to make some (haven't sewn in years). I bought material at Walmart several weeks ago and now have lost all my motivation to make them. (I also finally found some we like at Bed & Bath). Can you return fabric? It's still folded up, I never even took it out of the bag.
Thanks!

I doubt it. Usually once it is cut - it is a "custom" thing, and not everyone would be able to use that exact amount that you bought.

I returned two pieces of fabric to the Rag Shop (arts & crafts store), bioth pieces were the entire piece they had for sale. I had the receipts and one of the slips for the yardage from the cutting counter. I called ahead to make sure it was ok to return it.

I had the bright idea of making a comforter cover. Neither piece was big enough to fit my full/queen so I left the fabric in a bag for about a month, realizing I'd never do anything with it.

Pop Daddy,
I'm not sure if you can return it, but I'm sure you could sell it on ebay!;)
Thanks other posters, I'll call Walmart tomorrow and see what they say.

Most fabric stores will take back returns on fabric as long as it's still uncut by you and you have the receipt.

I dunno about Walmart, I would assume so also unless they have a 30 day return policy that you are outside of...
