Can you request late port arrival time? What is the latest?

Have not sailed in over 10 years. We have three parties all coming in from different states with linked reservationd. One can't fly into Orlando before 10am on sail date. We can pick them up (driving in from another state)- but allowing for late flight/logistics with airport/it'll be a Friday- can we request late PAT- or if we get assigned 11:30- is it just fine to show up before what absolute deadline for boarding? I read ship leaves at 3:00? WISH.
We are all crunched to make this happen and we can't travel on Thursday- tough schedules/petsitter availability- etc- it is what it is- we need to know the hard limits on boarding.

When you do check in you will get the available PATs to choose from. You can certainly choose a later one if you prefer that. I think the All Aboard is 3:00, but I know recently some ships have started doing things a little earlier so I'm not sure on that. I like early so I don't usually pay attention to what's the lasest. Someone else will have better info for you I'm sure.

I’m not sure trip insurance is actually going to help you unless it’s a cancel for any reason policy. If you’re getting outside insurance that covers the flights a delay normally needs to be 24 hours to cover a trip interruption like missing the cruise. Trip delay portion normally kicks in at around six hours, but that is not going to help you with the cruise portion of your trip.

Also keep in mind if these are linked sailings, and the person with the flight will not be in your stateroom their flight delay will not cover you missing boarding.

When you go to check-in for your port arrival time, you may select the time that works best for you. You are not assigned a time if you are driving yourself to Port. You need to be on the ship before 3:00 PM. That means parked, through security, checked in and on the ship.

The port arrival time is the earliest time that you are permitted to enter the terminal. You are welcome to arrive later, and to board anytime after your boarding group is called.

You just need to be onboard by the all-aboard time, which should be shown during your online check-in.

Thank you! Booking cancel for any reason bc we have had to use that before and with all of us having hectic schedules- needed.
We should be able to get there by 2;00- just concerned I have not seen any PAT beyond 1:30.

Then pick the 1:30 PAT and arrive later. PAT essentially becomes a non-factor once DCL shifts to open boarding, which is usually sometime around 12:45pm. Just be aware of the All Aboard time — that’s much more important for your situation than PAT.
