Can you rent from different owners for same reservation?

If I wanted to add on to an existing reservation made from rented points, can I do so w/rented points from another owner? I understand the other owner would have to make the reservation, but can they be merged?

I would assume you couldn't since they are under 2 different DVC accounts.

If not, what do you think the likelihood would be for them to accommodate a room request so I can stay in the same room?

Actually, yes, you can. We've done this before when we had a large family trip. The reservations are both made by the DVC owners, but the guests listed on the reservations will be identical (you and whoever is in your travel party). The owners you are renting from just need to instruct MS to link the two reservations.
