I do not have a camcorder, but would love to have a tape of the Christmas parade. Does anyone know if I can rent one or better yet, if there is a DVD or VHS available from the parks of the parades?

I do recall that you could rent them, but it seems that the deposit is something outrageous. This was a few years back, so perhaps someone has some more current information.

They stopped renting in 1998 because people were putting down the deposits and then actually taking the cameras home according to a cast member I talked to. At the time the deposit was around $400.00 so it was a good deal on a used camera. It was $40.00 a day to rent one.

WDW Poly Princess,
I was reading this post and noticed your avatar. If that is your cat, they look just like mine. I did a double take because the only difference is that my Blackie (aka Princess Moo) has a bit more white on her upper lip area - she has 1/2 a white mustache.

But she gets that same look. LOL

Yup, that's my cat, Tallulah! Your cat must be very beautiful! :teeth:

I wish they did still rent video cameras, that would be really handy if you didn't want to risk losing yours on the flight, but I can see why they stopped.
