Can you rent a Surrey Bike at the Boardwalk in the morning?

Just wondering what time the Surrey Bike rentals at the Boardwalk open up. Could we rent one and take it out for a spin after breakfast, or are they only open in the evenings?

I just checked my BW "Bugle"(their news letter you get upon checkin)from our trip in May, and they didn't have the times listed. We did ride the surrey bikes during the day, and I just checked the receipt and we rode at 1:54 in the afternoon. Sorry I can't help with the exact opening time, but I don't remember seeing anyone riding after breakfast.

I remember jogging around the boardwalk area and seeing the bikes. I cannot remember the time but it was still cool. I'd guess before 10am.

We just returned from the YC and the bikes are rented sometime after 10 a.m. My DH and the kids went over to rent one Thursday morning about 9:50 and there was no one around. By the time they walked back to the YC, wouldn't you know a bike came around the bend ringing its bell! By then, the kids decided to swim instead! Oh well, next time...
