Can you relate....?

:nod Me to just look at all those days I am counting:teeth

I can completely relate. My husband refuses to discuss the cruise until it's closer, makes fun of me for getting so excited, and got a little annoyed when I wanted to go buy the Passporter today. I think I'll wait until the 2004 comes out next month and just not tell him about it. :teeth:

I FEEL YOUR PAIN.........plus about seven months!!!!LOL

I was almost convinced that I was all alone in my excitement until I starting reading all the posts.

My family (DH, DS 16, DD 12, DD 9) all role thier eyes at me everytime I bring up Disney (Which is usually hourly). But the last laugh will be on them when they have to thank me for being so totally prepared and informed when we embark on our first cruise on 4/15 (22 days).

This is how I feel, I can't keep still. :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I totally know where you are coming from. My screensaver at home and work has pictures from our last cruise, I constantly stare at the cruise brochures I have and scan the internet looking for anything new I can read about the cruise. Embarrassing to admit but I even made one of those paper chains you would make as a kid, to count down my days. It is like a drug!!! With everything that is happening in the world, it's the one subject that helps me forget about the world's woes!

39 more days and counting!!!!

Let me put it this way-

3 weeks from right now, the ship will be pulling away from Grand Cayman, and we will be making our way to the Castaway Club reception!

:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: I totally understand as well. It is my 3rd trip to the "World" but my first cruise. Dh and 2 Ds's think I have gone mad. this about the cruise, that about the cruise. So looking forward to them saying "thanks". This board is WONDERful, so much help.

At first when my GF starting planning, I was thinking to myself "maybe planning every minute of a cruise 7 months from now is a little TOO much."

Now as I approach my 4th (4th??? my major kills me!) set of midterms this semester, I think "maybe planning every minute of that cruise now only 5 months away isn't such a bad idea after all"

She must be on to something. Some people do yoga, others plan for DCL.

Tom,

I can TOTALLY relate! Not only are we on the same 5/8 cruise, because we are like almost 45 days away, I am now actively posting and reading and trying to remember all the packing hints and tips! Thankfully, I would print threads that would help me in or planning and have just one more excursion to book!

Tomorrow, I am getting down my 2 "CRUISE" boxes in my closet and I think I need to start my packing list again!

Yes, yes, yes, I can totally relate! We watched the travel channel AGAIN tonight for like the 6th time since last year's sail!

Hee!

My DS11 and I started with 365 pennies in one jar and everyday we switched to another jar! The first months he lost interests, now he says "I wish they were quarters!".

My poor husband-2-be should really start a support group for all those that we drive crazy with our endless persuit to return to our mother ship! It has been three years since I was last at WDW and on the cruise, however I can remember it as if it were last week!

He knows that once I buy a notebook, I start running numbers and asking questions such as if we could use more candles to save on electric and if we really need to eat so much (a stupid way of cutting the bills down and bring up the disney fund) that I will be a terror to live with. But he just smiles and shakes his head.

I know that some of my friend think I am crazy or some kind of alien, but like I said... returning to the mother ship never felt so great.

Relate? Oh Boy can I relate!
My friends and family are tired of hearing me. My best friend and my Mom who are traveling with me are okay about it. I can't decide if they just don't remember what I have already told them or they are just being polite. Then its off to the boards for some more information! And more posts and more information and more questions and more posts...

:worried: Oh my is this an addiction? ::yes::
I confess: "My name is Nancy and I am addicted to the DCL DIS Board and the DVC DISBOARD and the DISboards in general!"
Do I need to join a support group? Disney addicts anonymous?
That's why I come here to get that group support because no one else understands us! :grouphug:
::yes::
:wave2:
