So I am on the mears site and they tried to make a reservation but the fare was twice as much money and everyone posted here. Is there a problem with their site? Maybe I should just land and take a cab. The cabfare to the doubletree was 37 dollars one way. What do you think?

I thought it was $15-20 from MCO to WDW on Mears, so that looks about right to me.

It's $19 pp, one way, $30 pp r/t. So, $60 for 2 r/t fares, or $38 for 2 one way fares.
Not sure what the issue is. OF course, if you use a cab, it's just the two of you. If you use Mears, you will be in a large bus or a van, most likely with others. But, for $30 pp, r/t, I think that's pretty decent.

The rates went up slightly in 2011. I sometimes take Mears from MCO to the Swan, and the roundtrip fare in 2011 is $34. The fare to the Downtown Disney hotels costs a bit less.

Spaced for clarity ;)

OP - are you sure you're comparing right-pricing? Most of the Mears pricing I see here is between Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, which is about $19 per adult round-trip. Also note that the $37 cab fare you found is an estimate, since the actual fare is metered and can be affected by things other than actual mileage.

Thanks that is what I was doing wrong. I read the pricing on this site between WDW and universal. I didn't have a problem I was just confused on why it was twice as much. Now I know thanks for clearing this up for me.
