Can you pick up your room key a day early?

I know this is a strange question, but... my family is staying at BWV during the busy week before Easter. In order to avoid the worst of the crowds, we plan to take advantage of Early Entry as much as possible.

With the expanded hours, we will need to be at MK by around 6:30 am for EE on the day that we check into BWV. We actually arrive in Orlando the day before, and would love to be able to pick up the room key the same day that we arrive so that we can take advantage of EE on the following (check-in) day, without having to get up at a truely wretched hour and visit BWV first.

Has anyone ever tried to do this before? I would appreciate it if you could share any experiences!

Afraid not. The day before you check into the BWV if you are staying at another Disney resort you will have no problem with Early Entry. If not then you will have to check in and then go. As Early Entry is for Disney guests and you will not be a guest until you check in.

They are not going to allow you to check in a day before your arrival date, sorry. Truely you must see the headaches this would cause them if they allowed this.

The only option is to check in early at the BW then go. Or stay with the Disney the day before, possibly at All Star then check inlater at the BW.

A commando who is a DVC member, not many left. No, you would not be able to check-in the day before your check-in date. Your raid on the park would have to start the day of your check-in and it will be late. You are a rare breed, as you move along you need to raid the parks will go away. You could try 12:01 in the morning that would be a first, but I would call ahead to see if someone will do it for you. They probably won't be able to but you never know.

ok i agree with Pa@okw95 , i would check out of your off property hotel at 5:30 - 6 am and go over to the BWV and check in, leave your luggage and ask the cm about EE at the park, and that you would like to takwe the advantage since you have arrived so early, maybe the cm will have a suggestion, im sure you have not be the first guest that would like to jump right in and start enjoying. of course im sure your room wont be ready that early but at least theycan store your luggage until you return that evening. have fun !
