Can you pay for the dining plan with gift cards?

Iike the heading says. Can I? I don't want to pick up a whole bunch of 50$ gift cards and not be able to use them for the dining plan.

When I rent points the the dinning must be pre paid and yes guest have given me gift cards like Visa or MC to pay members services.
