We are staying off site this time,I will have an ap for upcoming trip, and was hoping to park at the resorts a couple of days and take the monorail to the park. Kids would like this. Not sure of the resort parking rules> Shelly

No you cannot. you must be a guest at the resort of have an ADR in which case they give you a 3 hour pass, or some other good reason again they will give you a short duration pass and they will tow your car if you go over the pass time.

You cannot park at the resorts unless you are staying at that resort or if you have a dining ressie there they will give you a 2-3 hour pass. They will tow your car!
Your better off to park at TTC then use the monorail to get to MK or Epcot or any of the monorail resorts.
Your AP will let you park for free in the parks it's not access to the resort lots.

When we stayed at BCV this year we headed over to CR to do an hour or so on the Boats. They were checking cars for passes when we arrived and had a Tow Truck there when we left about 2 hours later.

So as PP have stated It's not an excepted practice.

You can park in the lots with an annual pass. You could park there, take the monorail and accomplish the same thing.:)

As someone who has always stayed at the Contemporary and will be staying at the Polynesian this December, please do not park at any of the Magic Kingdom Monorail Resorts and go off to the Magic Kingdom. It is not fair for those who are paying a lot of $ per nignt, to not get a parking spot because you are choosing to take up a space from a guest. Besides since you must have an annual pass you can park for free at the TTC. Finally it has become a lot harder to park at the Magic Kingdom Monorail Resorts if you're not staying or don't have an ADR. Last month at the Contemporary I saw a lot of people who were not allowed to park and got turned away at the gates, which was happening at all hours of the day. Also you're car will be towed if you do this so do you really want that to happen?

I don't think you can park at the resort unless you are a guest of the resort or have ADRs. You do get free parking at the theme parks.
