a muffin pan? Also can you reheat them? I am having guests for dinner and I want to make popovers but it will be too hard and take too long to cook them because all I have is a mini popover pan which would mean that I would need to wait 40 min for two sets of them. Can I use a regular muffin pan AND can I reheat if so how do I do it?

Yes you can use a regular muffin tin, but they won't rise quite as high-but they will still be good. They are better fresh from the oven. We reheated popovers last night leftover from Christmas and they were good, but not great. They were a bit rubbery. However, maybe you can just keep them warm wrapped in foil if you are only trying to "reheat" over an hour or two.

You can definitely make them in a muffin pan, but I would make them fresh. They won't be that good reheated.

You can make the batter ahead of time and refrigerate it, then pour and bake the popovers so that they're ready when you're going to serve them.

Good! I have enough muffin tins so I can get the batter ready and then cook it in 20 min when they come. Thanks. BTW this is the first time I am trying a mix it is from the Barefoot Contessa. Cross your fingers. Everything else I have used from her is good so hopefully these should be too! Thanks again. I can always count on the Dis'ers for quick answers.
