if they don't spend all that you load, can you get the cash back, off of the band, to put back in your pocket, or do you need to spend it in the park to get it 'off' the band?

If this isn't a great option for each kid, what would be a next, good choice? My kids are 13 and 16 and will likely be around us but off shopping at times together w/o parents. I don't want everything charged back to the room and of course, I'd like there to be a limit to the spending. This is our first time going since the magic bands came out so I'm not quite sure how to do this with the kids... thanks!

I guess I could but if history is any indication, my son will loose his somewhere in the first park. lol I was just hoping to streamline this with everything else the MB offers.

You can't put money on a magic band. You can put charging privileges on it but that will be charged back to your room.

You can put a spending limit on each band. My 13 and 15 year old each had saved $$ to spend. I put their cash in my checking account and then had a limit put on their bands equal to what they'd saved (charged to my card). The money they didn't spend I just gave them back when we got home.

@jenny2 That sounds perfect! The spending limit is the important part for me. How do you do this? Online? Call?

I've always allowed charging for m kids on vacations (cruises, great wolf lodge, etc.), and I tell them their limit. They've never gone over (5 kids, at least 6 trips), but if they did, they knew they'd be in trouble, and have to pay it back.
