We have two member numbers...two different resorts/UY. So.....yesterday I was able to book 6 nights using one membership at SSR in a studio for next month. I couldn't get the last two nights so I booked two nights at Kidani. I see today that the first night of the Kidani stay is available at SSR. IF I were able to get get the same two nights at SSR I would love to keep all my nights at one resort...but since I booked AKV under out other contract...can they link those nights to the 6??

You can link any DVC reservations that are for the same room category at the same resort. Thus, if you change those AKV nights at the end of the trip to SSR for the same type of room you have now, you will be able to link. Note that linking means you won't have to change rooms but you may have to do a new check-in on the turnover day and get new room keys.

Okay thanks!! :)

Yes, I've done it with a DVC friend. We just did it a VGC last September, I booked 3 nights, she booked 3 nights and we linked them. We didn't have to get new keys.

We did this same thing at Aulani and did not have to check out and then check back in. My friend used her points to book part of our stay, and we used our points for the rest. Super easy and no trouble at all.:)

Did she have to call member services or were you able to do that without her? Thanks for your help!

last time i linked reservations from 2 memberships was told I would 'likely' not have to move (we didn't, this was last summer @ AKV) but would definitely have to come down to the desk the morning of the first day.
