Hi all-

We will be renting a car for the first time this trip, and I was wondering what the policy is for the parking lots.

Let's say we go to a park with the car, and find Mexico's margarita's a little stronger than we thought. Or, we just wanted to get outta town by hopping on the bus. (We'll be on-site.)

I was thinking that we could just take the bus back the next day to pick up the car, but I want to be sure that it will still be there!!!

Has anyone ever done this?

I am thinking no it can't be done. I think Disney security checks everynight. If you are planning on doing something like that, why not take a bus to park then go about your plans.

A CM on the AK tram announced that any cars left in the lots after hours are picked up at 3 AM and sold to CM's. I think he was kidding.

My opinion is that they DO tow cars as I'm one of those early birds to the parks and usually am one of the first into the parking lots for the day and I don't recall ever seeing any stray cars sitting in any of the parking lots. If you're worried about not taking your car back to your hotel, I'd highly recommend just taking the bus to the park.
