Can you just leave your luggage--

Here is what we are hoping. Our plane arrives just after 7 pm. We are taking a towncar to Pop Century, with no grocery stop. (getting them delivered this time)

Can we leave our luggage, go eat, and then come back and check-in.

We are trying for a 9 pm PS. I'm not sure we can make it. I know we would have to take a cab.

By doing this, are we decreasing our chances for our room pref. We aren't to specific. 70's bldg, 4th floor, non-smoking.

Yes, you can leave your bags. I am not sure how this will affect your room choice though.

You can leave your luggage, yes. However, be aware that on Sun-Thurs, Luggage Assistance will close at 10pm. (Friday & Saturday is midnight). Also, you will be greatly decreasing your chances of getting your requests.

If you do this, please let the luggage cast members know that you will be checking in at a later time. Pop luggage dispatchers constantly monitor your reservation, and once you check in, your bags get sent up on the next run. If (at that time of night) they notice that your reservation doesn't get checked in for several hours, they might get a bit worried.

Also, just so you know, if you do check in, your bags will be delivered to your room while you are at dinner.

We are going to try www.wegoshop.com for the groceries. Delivery fees did not seem too high.

Thanks for the replies about leaving the luggage. Hopefully, we will have time to check in first, just wanted to see if I had that option.

Not sure where we are going to eat. It wil have already been a very long day.

I use 'WeGoShop' every trip and LOVE them. They are great. If you prefer certain name brands they will get it - no problem. As for luggage, we often do the same thing because we arrive early in the a.m. Its never been a problem.

Mady - why not just eat at Pop? I had tried to plan the same thing you are, but I would just be too stressed coming in. We decided to just get there, check in, eat at Everything Pop while our bags are delivered and then check out the resort/swim.

When I read this I thought "Oh! How nice to know this! If the line to check in is really long we will just store our luggage and hit the parks." Hello? If we are going to the parks and don't want to come back until we are done for the day then we will need the ROOM KEYS to get the EMH wristbands. Glad I figured that out beforehand! I wouldn't have been very happy to have to trudge back to Pop (and potentially STILL have a long line for check-in) thinking I had saved time by not checking in initially!
