Would you rather do a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration? My party is me, Dh, 3 dd's 13,8,and 8. DM and DF 78, and DB 27.

My oldest DD has been to SeaWorld when it was open here in Ohio- My youngest have never been. We have all never been to SeaWorld Orlando

My immediate family saw the holiday parade last year and holiday Wishes.

I just can't make the decision!! HELP!

You may want to post this on the theme park attractions and strategies board and the Orlando board for some other thoughts.

We love all the parks in Orlando, but SeaWorld happens to be my family's favorite, and we find it particularly festive at Christmas, so that's where we would go. SeaWorld was my son's favorite park when we was three, and it's still his favorite park at 15 and has been his favorite every year in between. We are however huge marine mammal fans and find the SeaWorld animal attractions and shows to be wonderful. The park is just beautiful -- great landscaping. There are two really fun coaters too for those who are 48 inches tall and who like coasters -- Manta and Kracken. For Miracles, the Orca Christmas show, last time we were there for the holidays they had wonderful musicians do Christmas pre-show entertainment that got my whole family into the Christmas spirit. We like the way they change the Wild Artic into the Polar Express, and the fountain show when the park closes was really pretty cool. They even generated some really snow that fell down on us.

I find this to be a great park for all ages, and it's always my first pick for a mulitgenerational group, which is what we usually have in Orlando over the holidays. My mom and dad are both 74, and this is their favorite park. My mom still goes to all the parks with us, buy my dad who has more limited mobility/stamina after cancer treatments and uses an electric scooter for a theme park day will skip some of the Disney ones now, but always joins us for SeaWorld (even got a season pass here).

I would do Seaworlds Personally. Seaworlds holiday celebration is included with park admission, and if im not mistaken, I believe Mickeys Very Merry Christmas is extra and doesnt include park admission.

I think you get more for the price at Seaworld. You have A ton of holiday themed shows, and decorations. Seaworld has a holiday themed fireworks show as well. And if your family has never been to Seaworld Orlando, it would be worth the visit.

Here is some information about the holiday celebration at Seaworld....

MVMCP does cost extra, but I believe that it includes admission into the park from 4pm until park close. Party starts at 7 and if you don't have the party ticket you aren't allowed to ride and are asked to leave I think

1. When are you going to be in Orlando Some SW Christmas shows are only on weekends till a certain date.
2. Were you planning on a day at Sea World anyway? For SW celebration you get all day admission and can get a 2nd day in the park free so it is a great 2 days for the price. For meals you can do the all day all you can eat for $30 adult and you won't have to buy drinks/water or even snacks unless you want something not offered on the menus of the restaurants included in the plan.
3. Personally, I would rather do Epcot at Christmas than MVMCP. They have a fantastic Christmas Illuminations show, the Santas and storytellers in all the lands, and the Candlelite processional which my family loves. I would spend the money for MVMCP on a special family meal in one of the sit downs like Teppan Edo. If you have never been there the kids will love the chef cooking on the grill(usually does a train or volcano when cooking the veggies) and jokes with the family.
