can you help me pick? WL, Poly, GF or CR (in order of price)?

I think I just need someone to tell me what to do here! My husband and I have been weighing the pros and cons and just want to make a choice...

This will be our 3rd time at WDW and 1st time with 3 kids...they will be 9 (celebrating 10th birthday on 2nd day), 7 and almost 3. Previously we stayed at CR Tower and Poly but this time we booked WL with free dining for 2nd week of Dec.

We can change to Poly garden view for $500 more, GF garden view for $900 more or CR Tower Lake view for $1000 more. I love the idea of being on the monorail loop but is it worth the extra $? I also think we'll never really stay at the WL again as we will have too many people for 1 room.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

We've stayed at the WL, Poly, & GF and they are all great resorts . Other than having the convenience of the monorail, a monorail resort will give you a much larger room than at the WL. But with that said, while the Poly is our favorite, the WL is an awesome resort (especially during the holidays) and for us, runs a very close second to the Poly . If the smaller room would do for this trip, I think I'd stick with the WL. If the WL is a resort that appeals to you, I would stay there now while you are able to stay in one room, as after this trip you would need 2 rooms or stay in a deluxe CL room. Good luck .

I would try out the WL due to its beautiful Christmas decorations and the fact that you will likely not stay there again otherwise.

If you really wanted to upgrade to a monorail resort, I would opt for the GF since its Christmas decorations are just as good as (or better than) those at the WL.

But for the cost savings, I say WL!

WL After the baby turns 3 you won't be able to stay there unless you get a deluxe room so go for it now while you can!! It's a beautiful resort especially at Christmas!

I do love the Poly (it's my fave) but I'd go for the WL since you have never stayed there. You get the boat to MK so that'll ease a little of the transporation to MK and really to Epcot if you hop the monorail at MK

My goal is to try every Disney hotel at some point. Five down so far BUT WL at Xmas will ALWAYS win that time of year.....just makes the holidays SO special IMO.
