Can you help me find a deodorant that works please?

Another vote for Certain-Dri. My doctor prescribed it for me because I have excessive sweating on my palms and feet.

One note though, you put in on the night before, not after you shower, can't put in on right after you shave either, and this thing is powerful.

Certain Dri® contains Aluminum Chloride, the ingredient prescribed by Dermatologists to patients with excessive perspiration or Hyperhidrosis. Laboratory studies prove that Aluminum Chloride is more effective and more longer lasting than other ingredients found in anti-perspirants. Yet safe when used as directed.

Well, it looks like Certain dri wins. But I take my showers in the mornings. I'm not sure when I would put it on.

I have used everything mentioned here, except the Suave naturals. Degree worked the best, but I've been using it for a few years now, and it's not working anymore.

Thanks guys. I knew I could get help here.:p

Certai Dri doesn't work for me anymore. I have to call my doctor because I am sick of this.

BTW you put Certain Dri on before you got to bed, you can shower in the morning with no problem with the effectiveness. I've been using it for awhile but it seems to have stopped working. Also dont shave before you put it on it will KILL. It stings anyways and on raw skin....YEOOOUCH.

i have the same problem and have also tried a lot of different things. not certain dri though. i might have to give it a try, but i have really sensitive skin, so i'm afraid. :o

I use Crystal...it's a stick(100% mineral salt) that you wet under the water then put it on (it's really simple to use)...It doesn't have any Aluminum Chorohydrate in it. It keep me very dry. I tried a lot of different deodorants and this one works!

I switch between Certain Dri some days, Secret Platinum soft solid and Soft & Dri Power Stripe.

I used to use Mitchum roll on and have tried Secret Skin Renewal and Arrid Total. The Secret Skin Renewal formula I liked. The Arrid Total works but the scent is too strong IMO.

I had tried so many different brands, mostly because they would irritate my skin. I have been using Dove since it came out and I love it; no more skin irritation for me!:D

I don't have a problem at all with wetness, and thank goodness as long as I was I don't really get smelly. I haven't found a deoderant that I can tolerate. I get a VERY bad rash from all deoderants. Now I just make sure I wash myself and I seem to be fine. My df was the same way...in that he never needed deoderant and no he didn't smell.

I swear by Secret invisible solid. My DH had the same problem for a long time before he FINALLY found Right Guard solid (Thank Goodness:tongue: ) RG is the only one that works for him and he has tried sooooo many.

Dry armpits :)

Sorry I had to, no I didn't notice any side affects other then some slight stinging sense when I first started using it. But like I mentioned above I have a very sensitive skin so that may have been the reason.

Secret Platinum Protection works wonders for me. It is expensive but I love it.

Love my Degree and it doesn't stain either! I love Secret too but it stains everything.....:(

Well, I went and got Certain Dri. I've used it for 2 nights now and I have to say, I think it's working. At work yesterday, I was much more comfortable without wet, sticky pits. I put it on at bedtime and then use my Degree in the am. I noticed a tiny bit of a rash at first, but it didn't sting and it went away. Thanks for the heads up everybody!!!!!

Glad it's working for you.

I'm one of those odd individuals that very, very, very RARELY sweats - especially in the arm pit area - but I always use something "just in case"..

My problem is the perfumes in them.. May smell great in the bottle, but they react differently on my skin and don't smell the same..

Right now I'm using Secret - original - and so far it's okay..

Ok. I just came up with a new question for all you Certain Dri users. You know how you can't use it after you shower? Well, I have a hot tub that I use at night before bed sometimes. Can I use it after that, or is it too much like bathing and what would happen if I did?
