i waited all night at Best Buy this year, and was able to buy two really inexpensive digital camcorders:
Panasonic PV-GS39 ($159)
Samsung SC-D363 (129)
now i have to decide which one to give back. i don't really know much about them. tried googling them for reviews, but didn't come up with too much.
if you have any info about either one of them and can give me some advice, or some direction as to where to look for advice, i'd really appreciate it!

Sorry I'm not much help here since I have no experience with either one, but I can tell you that the Panasonic is rated much better than the Samsung on Consumer Reports. Of the two, I'd take the Samsung back.
