Can you have two names on a Ressie?

Let me ask something. If they announce free dining they will most likely let Disney Visa members book first. Well I have a friend that has the DV. Can I have her book a room with her and my name on the ressie, and then have her name drop off and I can keep the free dining associated with the room?

I don't think so. There is a primary guest associated with each reservation. Last year they accidentally put me as the primary guest instead of my DBF, and the only way to switch names was to cancel the ressie and set one up in his name.

PP is correct.
A little warning for you once you add someone's name to your 'disney account' they can NEVER be removed. Trust me. I had an ex on my account years ago and I have done everything including tell them he is dead and it upsets me when they mention his name and still he isn't removed. I even wrote guest services complaining and nothing can be done he is still there.

At least they dont ask everytime I call now if I will be traveling with jerk-o. I think my account has some nifty notes on it to warn CM's not to ask that.

I called and asked that same question. My friend was coming along, and we needed two rooms with our number of travelers. Two of my kids were going to be in the room with my friend, and I was going to book under the current disney visa promo. They stated that even if I was on the original ressie, and then removed myself, leaving my friend and my children, the promo would be voided since I was no longer staying in the room...
