Can you have morning sickness 2 weeks after conception?

I had used an ovulation predictor kit and knew the exact days I ovulated. I took a digital HPT 13 days post conception and came up positive. :goodvibes

My cycle is also long by nature and I didn't feel like waiting to know. I was impatient! So try a test... I personally like digitals because it was very clear. I knew I would drive myself berserk with the one line/two line deals.

Like others have mentioned my very first clue was the sore chest area. Heck, I am 17 weeks along and still guard my girls more heavily then most military bases as they are still sore. If anything brushes against them... oowweeee.

Try the test, most come in 2 packs now. I don't know that there are many false positives on the tests, mostly false negatives. I took a pregnancy test before I missed my period when I was pregnant with our twins and it was very clearly positive, but since it was twins, more hormones raging. I remember my chest being heavy early on in both pregnancies.

Yes, big difference with twins! For my other (planned children), I took the test a couple of days before AF was due, and I had to hold the stick up to a lightbulb to see the line. With my twins, I took the test a couple of days before AF was due (after realizing I was off with my dates - doing NFP for a month before my IUD appointment), and it was VERY positive.

I got my positive test at 11 days after ovulation. You're at about 14 days (depending on your cycle). I would buy some cheap tests and the dollar store and then when you get a faint positive use a fun digital that says "PREGNANT". Those are fun!

I didn't get morning sickness until 6 weeks though. Good luck!

I think every one is different. I have had 2 pregnancies, the 2nd pregnancy was twins. Both home tests came back negative. Both urine tests at the Dr. came back negative.

Blood tests at the Dr. a few weeks after the urine tests came back positive with both pregnancies.

Run out to the Dollar store and get a test there. Yes, the dollar store does tests. And yes, they are just as accurate as the more expensive tests (they contain the strip that hospitals use).

I used one and it was positive before my period was due.

With DD I was definitely nauseated by 12 dpo. Take a test!! Let us know!! :)

(Darnit, you're making me want to do this all over again! :scared1:)

Yes, I totally agree with this. :thumbsup2

I would test!

With my dd, I just KNEW I was pregnant right after conception. I started having horrible headaches, frequent urination, and was just EXHAUSTED right away. My b**bs were soooo tender that I couldn't even handle my shirt brushing against them and this was before my period was due. I took a hpt the day after I was late but it was soooo faint. So I ran to the store and bought a digital to confirm and, yep, pregnant. I did not have morning sickness with her though.

With ds, I was charting and using OPKs so I knew the exact day I ovulated. I tested at 11 days past ovulation with him. My period usually arrives at 12 days past so this was only a day before my period was due but I got a really, really dark line right away with him. And I of course took a digital that I also had because I love seeing the word 'pregnant' when I am ttc. ;) With him I did not have the same symptoms as I did with my dd and I actually felt pretty decent for a week or so. Then the m/s hit me full force at 5.5 weeks...so probably a few weeks after conception.

Good luck!

With #3 I took the test 3 days before my period was due. I knew when I ovulated. The first test there were two lines, barely. I remember asking my 4 yo...how many lines do you see? He said two and asked what is that?! lol

Chew gum. that really helped me with nausea.

I was about 1 week away from that time of the month, I smelled popcorn while out shopping and thought I was going to throw up. We had been trying and my mom looked at my and said, oh yeah you are pregnant She will be 12 in April.

with my twins (2nd pregnancy) I knew I was pg before my period was even due, and I tested about 3 or 4 days before due and got a positive. that said, it turned out to be twins so no doubt my hormones were on full tilt for it! lol.

I always used first response, and tested first thing in the morning (first morning urine). that is supposed to give you the most, well, accurate results because its more concentrated.

good luck!!!!

oh, and buy a pack that has several tests. if you are not pg, you can use them next time, and if you are, well, I know I took several just to confirm, in case the first was a fluke. lol.

I tested positive on the day I was due or a couple days before with each of mine. I had a bit of a pg test addiction, lol. It was so exciting waiting for those lines:rotfl2: Take a test!!! Good luck!

Oh, Mrs. Darcy! I hope for you! You can join the club!

I had a faint faint faint positive 9 days post ovulation (23rd day of cycle) with this baby. I used a cheapie Dollar Tree test. I tested maybe two days later with a digital First Response, and it was positive.

I started getting sick about two days after my missed period. It hasn't stopped since. Some days I want to lay down and die! I hope you ARE pregnant, but that you don't get sick! ;)

Keep us posted, and get a good early response test... They come with TWO, so even if it still says no, you can test again in a few days! Remember, first morning pee ;)

Good luck, keep us posted!!!

Take the test! Pregnancy tests will be able to tell you a more definitive answer than a message board! GOOD LUCK.

With my first, I didn't feel nauseous for 6 weeks. With this one, I had all day sickness from even before I actually tested.

OMG, I was the same! Walked into a mall where they were making caramel corn which I love, and almost lost it right there! I was charting also so knew when I ovulated. I tested at 11 days and came up positive. It turns out that I had twins at that time and lost one at 8 weeks so that may be why I had such a strong reaction so early.

Good luck!
