Friends of mine went to WDW on their honeymoon last January, but it was a very short trip. It was their first visit ever, and they tried to visit 4 parks in 3 days. They even missed some of the rides because they rode the train all the way around the park, rather than getting off in Frontierland. When I asked them about POTC, they didn't know what I was talking about.

So anyway, he has an American Express card, and he is trying to use it for all of his expenses to build up points to use to travel. He says they are saving up to go on vacation somewhere really nice like Hawaii. I told him the ONLY place I want to go is WDW, and do you know what he said???? "We've already been there." :earseek:  :earseek: I was SHOCKED and HORRIFIED.

What is WRONG with people? They have stifled the child within! They need serious help. They don't know what a truly FUN vacation really is.

I know a lot of people like that. I agree w/ them part-way. There is a great big world out there to see. For every WDW trip we take 1 non-disney trip. Thankfully, we get to travel 3-5 times a year-- so it works for us.

My brother and sister in law are like that. I just cannot imagine going and then not caring if I ever go back. Even my MIL wants to go with us again (not happening any time soon!). We bought into DVC so we could go multiple times a year. I don't thing we'll ever tire of it.

My first visit was with my parents aged 8 and it took me 20 loooong years to get back, Me and DW bought into DVC that year and we have been using our points to the limit ever since!!!

can't think of anywhere on earth I'd rather visit :teeth:

My sister went with me in 1998. She has no interest in going back even if when I offer her a free trip. She's a lot younger (12 years) than me, but is not very young at heart. She's single, self employed, has no children and can take off any time she wants to.

Can you imagine turning down a free trip to WDW?

I can't imagine looking at it like that.

My first trip to WDW ever was when I packed and moved there for the College Program. I was there for 4 months and realized there was still stuff that I wanted to see for the first time or stuff I knew I wanted to do again, and again and again! But that's not to say I don't want to see other places as well.

Also, I can't imagine picking the World for your honeymoon and not doing any homework/planning about what you were going to do and see. But I'm a planner like that.
