Can you go to a park on a hopper 'plus' day?

This has probably been asked a million times. We are going to Blizzard Beach on the day we arrive - before hotel check-in. So we will use the 'plus' option on the park hopper plus ticket. Can we enter a park that night and still be on the 'plus' day and not one of the regular hopper days?

Sorry but if you do that you will use up one of your regular park days.

Theme park admission and plus options for water parks, PI or WWoS are like apples and oranges. In your situation, you will use up one plus option by going to BB during the day and you will use up one theme park admission by going to the parks that night. So you will have used two admissions (1 theme park and one plus) for that day.
