Can you get merchandise placed in your DVC room?

Thanks for the continued help with our questions.

We know that you can call ahead to some of the WDW resorts, and they will purchase items for you and place them in your room before arrival (like a Mickey stuffed mouse or a gift basket).

Can this be done at some of the DVC resorts as well?

Hmmm.... I know you can have groceries delivered, but not quite sure about merchandise.
I would bet the answer is yes. If they have it in the gift shop, I would bet they can arrange to have it in your room. Again, I'm not sure though.

Last summer during a high school graduation trip at HH for 5 grads, I called ahead and had balloons, cards and refillable mugs placed in the room. They even had a 'Congratulations' message on the HH DVC channel!
