Can you get a replacement member card?

I've misplaced my member card and I'll need it to p/u our APs next week @ WDW so if I can't find it in the next couple days is there a way to replace it or get a temp card?

You can get a temp card at the sales office at SSR.
 

Related...anyone have any luck getting a new permanent card? DH's card is unreadable, and with the exception that it is "DVC BLUE" you wouldn't even know what it was a card for! His numbers are completely gone, and mine are fading as well after 11 years. I would have thought they would at least have made the number embossed like they do credit cards so you could read it even if the color wore off, but that wasn't the case. Anyway, has anyone had any luck getting them replaced permanently?
 
I requested a new card for DW months ago from MS and never received it.
 
I've gotten some replacements, the new blue card have black numbers and seem to last better than those with the gold numbers. Remember the original colorful embossed cards?
 
Alrighty then! I just got the answer to my own question! I called MS and told them our cards were unreadable, and Damian is sending out two new ones! He said it could take up to 6 weeks, so good information for those of you who have "aging" cards like we did.

Good luck with that one. Ours was misplaced around November or December and we asked about a new one I think in December. They said they would get one out to us. We asked about it again in Jan/Feb timeframe, and again a couple of weeks ago since we were about to take a trip. Still haven't seen it. They reassured us it would be sent and that they would make sure it is noted with our ressie and the resort could help with anything we needed to use the discount for. We are at least three months and counting with no card.
 
One of mine is unreadable, so I called **more** than two years ago now to ask for a replacement. After a few more calls, I just gave up and wrote the membership number on with a magic marker and put a piece of scotch tape over it.

Why is it so hard to get a replacement? :confused3 I had a hard time reading my card while I was on the phone with MS, and she offered to send me a new one, but I said I didn't need it. (I've got more than one card in my name, and I think the other one is in better shape.)

Mine is embossed, and the numbers are gold.
 
I asked for a new one in January and again in late February and got it two weeks ago...... But I had to phone up two times. If it is longer than 2 months just phone again
 
I received a replacement in less than 3 weeks on the first request!
