Can you freeze Oreo truffles?

We are traveling to PA for Thanksgiving this year. My sister wants me to make a cookie/brownie platter of sorts.

I know that I'm making brownies and 7-layer bars per request. I'm going to make these two tomorrow and freeze them. I'm also thinking of making Oreo truffles but wondering if I can freeze them also.

If you can freeze them, is there any trick or just throw them in a freezer bag and call it a day?

I would freeze individually on a baking sheet, then when frozen take them off the baking sheet and put into a ziploc bag. This way they won't freeze together and you won't get an oreo truffle blob.

Ooh, I was thinking of making these for Thanksgiving but was worried I wouldn't have time on Wednesday. I never even thought about freezing them! I think I'll try to make a batch this weekend, and use half for Thanksgiving, and half for Christmas.:cool1:

They should be OK in the freezer for 5 weeks if I double-bag them, right?

For those of you that say you can freeze them...do you dip yours in chocolate? If they are coated in chocolate can you still freeze them? That would be such a time saver if I can make them at my convenience over the next week.
