Can you explain codes and discounts?

I have always booked the packages with my TA for the past 4 years, but this year I hopped on the low aire fares for next April and booked our flights by myself with Delta. I had my TA book our 10 nights with POR already, but we're waiting for the DC to come out with their codes for next April. Can you suggest any other way I can get discounts for the hotel portion of our trip? I have no idea how to get other codes (other than DC), which saved about 300.00 for me last year. Thanks! Also, can you give these codes to your TA even after she has booked the room?

Check out Mousesavers.com. That will explain all of the different discount possibilities. I'm not sure about giving the TA your code, but I would say yes. I know if you use Dreams Unlimited on these boards they will keep checking for the discount and get it changed to the lower rate.
