I wouldnt call the popcorn bad but it certainly isnt the quality of hot buttered you get in a movie theatre. I dont see why they would stop you from being something down from Plutos or room service within reason such as Nachos.
When we were on the cruise this past summer, we got to see the premiere of The Village... It started at 12:01am , and the mightnight dessert buffet started at 11:55... Me and my friends brought in at least 6 plates of food. And can I just say that even though we were on a cruise in the middle of the caribbean with 6 plates of gourmet desserts... that movie still BOMBED
On the wonder 2 yrs ago GS was starving so we ran up & got him a hot dog, some nachos & a soft drink while DH saved our seats, it was the opening of pirates of the carribean. When we got back to the theater the CM would not let us take the food into the theater so we stood outside & let GS finish eating.
Wow, the differences in experiences. In contrast to the poster who was stopped by a CM on the Wonder, in 1/2003 on the Magic I went to a couple movies, later shows after late dinner, and saw many other movie goers cringing in plates with Pinochios Pizza slices, often covered "to go" with another plate overturned on top. Made sense to me when I saw it, a warm snack in lieu of movie popcorn.
I have seen people eating in the theater, but every time I have tried, I have been stopped! I must have that "Starve me, please" aura or something.

Our story is like ann-e-mator's: We went to the midnight prem-ear of The Incredibles. It was also on the night of the gala dessert buffet, so once we were seated I went down and loaded up some plates with desserts. A CM saw me as I was re-entering the theater, and gave me a thumbs up! I still felt like I was doing something wrong, tho.
And when I walked in with the desserts, people jumped up all around the theater, and headed downstairs!
