Can you drop a day to get FD?

If you have a reservation can you drop a day so you will arrive on the first day it starts without having to make a new reservation?

No. It will need to be a new reservation as there are a limited number of spots at each resort for free dining. You don't automatically get it added.

Any time you drop a day, it is a whole new reservation, actually.
