Can you "drive stick"?

While they are hard to find today, a manual is so much more fun to drive and the new ones have so many features, they are easy to drive.
Hill assist is amazing.

Yes, and I like it. I only hate it on long trips in traffic jams, when I'm trying to eat.

Yes I can and I learned how on a Boss 302 Mustang back in the ‘70s.

The first Jeep I bought brand new was manual. I wouldn’t today, though, just because it’s too much work! 🤣

Nope, and I'm paying through the nose to rent automatics on our upcoming trip to Europe because I can't handle a stick. I've actually only known one person who owned a manual and while he did try to teach me, I was 16 and I seriously doubt any of it stuck. Certainly not well enough to enjoy a refresher while also dealing with driving on the left and going the wrong way around roundabouts, anyway!

yes. My dream car was a Jeep Wrangler. Bought it when I was 25 - it was a stick. I couldn’t even drive it home! Took about 2 days to be able to drive it.
I love manual transmission - I feel I pay more attention to the ride.
However I live downtown Chicago so the stop and go would kill me today!!

In near stopped Interstate traffic going into Pittsburgh back in the 90's I loved my manual for that traffic. Instead of constantly back and forth throttle, brake, throttle, brake, I just engaged the clutch and let it pull me along at idle. Traffic moved faster, slip into 2nd and let the idle pull me along.

Inner city traffic light stop and go would be bad, but I was out on the highways with morons dipping into the far right knowing it will exit in a mile and they will have to merge back in.
