is it possible to downgrade tickets after the trip has been paid for?

Longish story...I'll try to condense. We have 4 day base tickets for our upcoming trip; we have three days planned at DHS, MK, and Epcot. On the 4th day, we are going to Typhoon Lagoon, but will use our 4th park entrance in the evening to enter Epcot for dinner at Teppan Edo. I received a call last night in regards to our TE reservation being overbooked and they need to cancel. I will be able to choose another restaurant, but really wanted TE.

With Epcot that night being an EMH evening, I know it will be crowded, its F&W festival, restaurants will be crowded etc...I'm wondering if we should just go outside of Epcot to eat instead, but we will have that 4th day of entry that will go to waste if we decide to skip Epcot for dinner that night. Can I downgrade my pass to 3 days even after my package is paid for?

Once you're w/in the 45 day window, you may have to pay the ~$50 change fee to downgrade your package.

The difference in price of a 3 day base adult ticket and a 4 day is $6 (child's is 5). Not much of a waste there, unless you have a large party.

it's only the 4 of us, so not a huge amount of money...just seems like a waste if we never use it. Ugh...maybe I'll just suck it up and choose another WS restaurant. Any suggestions? I've got a non-adventurous DH (so no Marrakesh, Nine Dragons etc)and a DD that hates grilled chicken and fish, lol.
Thanks

We like Chefs de France last trip and we also really enjoyed Biergarten a lot. Neither of those are too adventurous! Biergarten was fun because of the Oktoberfest band.

crisis averted! Just got a call back from Disney Dining and was told there will be no changes to my Teppan Edo ADR! No need to change any plans around thankfully. :thumbsup2
