I was thinking of doing some aprons for a family reunion, and I found some cheap, but they are 100% polyester. Can you do iron on transfers on polyester?? I imagine not, just checking with the experts....... :)
How about canvas?? How about the "bill" of a hat??

I would suggest reading the instruction sheets that come with the transfer paper. I would be concerned that 100% polyester would melt. Canvas would work, but I don't know how it would hold up over time.

I have used the iron-ons on canvas bags. It worked fine. I know that somewhere along the line, I read where someone also did an iron-on a hat. I can't remember if it was the bill or the actual head part.

i made the mistake of trying to do iron ons on 50/50 shirts (cotton/poly) and they did not come out well at all... did the same design (on the same paper, etc) on 100% cotton shirts and they came out GREAT! i'd stay away from anything but cotton!
