Can you do a split stay w/ free dining w/o buying two sets of tickets?

I know that I could do two packages and do it, but was wondering if Disney would let me switch resorts half-way w/o having to buy tickets again. I would just get the 10 day.

Not any way that I am aware.
You can book another res. Just not with free dine.

Sorry, free dining or paid for DDP, both require a ticket as part of a package. You could get a 10 day ticket for the 1st half of your stay and a single day ticket for the 2nd half. Keep the single ticket for use on another trip.
