Can you charge to your room at the DL hotels?

Just wondering if this is like it is at WDW, where your room key is also a charge card back to your room?

You CAN charge to your room, but it is not done via your card key like at the WDW resorts, unfortunately. They give you a PAPER charge slip, and that along with your photo ID will give you charging privileges. Hopefully someday they will get the card key/room charge system in place at the Disneyland resort hotels.
