I am planning on sending postcards from each of the parks. Do they sell disney theme postage stamps in the parks?

I'm not sure if you are intending to send postcards FROM each park, or postcards that have a picture 'from' each park, but if you are hoping to send a post card that will be postmarked from that park, Disney do not offer that service. The only place you can get a postmark from Disney is in the scrapbooking store in Downtown Disney. I believe they sell stamps as well, but they would have to be stamps the US Post Office is currently offering.

The US Post office is selling 37 cent Disney stamps. They are called the art of celebration. Check with your local post office.

Last Thanksgiving, my mom wanted DISNEY post marks on all of her christmas cards she was sending out. She hauled them all the way to WDW, then we went to DTD just for the post mark that she read alll about. SHe was so excited to get her cards mailed from and postmarke Disney..

THEY WERENT!!!!

She was extremely disappointed to find out they were NOT post marked Disney.

The postmark is ONLY available at the Scrapbook store. If you send it from anywhere else at Downtown Disney, you won't get it.

Also, it's not REALLY a postmark. They use (I think) a Pitney Bowes postage meter. And the "Capture the Magic" logo comes out as part of the paid postage stamp. The postmark doesn't come until later, at the post office.

Stamps used to be available at most cash registers, but on my last trip I was directed to City Hall in the MK (didn't check anywhere else). They were sold there in a vending machine. None of the cash registers I checked with had them.

Do they have Disney stamps for postcards at the USPS? Or are they the $0.37 cents stamps only?

Didn't it used to be that if you mailed your post card from the parks (using the green metal postage boxes) that the mail was stamped WDW?
So now if you mail your postcards from the mail boxes at WDW, it only says Orlando?

I think they actually have a Lake Buena Vista postmark on them.

so how can we get them post marked from Disney - I have doing 18 fairy god mailers, and I want to get them "from Disney" as much as possible.

Do I need to buy stamps before I go? I volunteered to send post cards to kids while I was there. One is from Australia and another from Canada so I will need additional postage. I will need a 70 cent stamp (for Australia) and a 50 cent stamp (for Canada). Will I be able to buy those at City Hall or should I go to my post office here at home before I go? Has anyone ever bought anything other than a 23 or 37 cent stamp at WDW?

I would buy them and take them with you. One less thing to worry about when you get there.

The closest you can come is the postage meter they use at the Scrapbook store at downtown Disney. I believe the postmark will still come from Lake Buena Vista.
