I need a 1 day pass and am wondering if I can buy it before getting to the park? Does AAA sell DL tickets?

If it makes a difference, I will not be staying at any of the DLR hotels and need to buy the tickets out of state (WA state).

Thanks!

I believe you can only buy anything MORE than a 1-day pass from disney.com; otherwise, you have to buy them at the park.

You can buy them online, although, last time I was there would only let me buy a 2 day park hopper. Hope everything works out ;)

because currently, they the 2 day parkhopper cost the same price for a 1 day parkhopper for SoCal Residents.

The process for online tickets is that you just print out the ticket and take it to the gate. You give up your paper ticket you printed for new tickets that is printed out at the gate.

I have my paper AP that I bought on line. We don't need to go to the ticket booth, right? We just head straight to the turnstiles with our paper ticket?

How do you get the 20% off? Are all the passes paper? I like WDW plastic passes.

No they do not sell a 1 day pass. They start at 3 days. I checked yesterday. The manager at the Disney Store suggested buying them on line also.

We have plastic AP's at Disneyland also. I just bought mine on line so now I have to go to the AP center when I get to the park to have it processed then I'll get my plastic card with my photo on it.

I got a 20% discount coupon last time when I renewed my Premium AP before it expired. Not sure if this is how JenDisneylandLver got hers.

Thank you nodoubt51 for your speedy answer!:thumbsup2

From what I remember of people talking about it, when they would go through disneyland.com to buy their AP vouchers or ticket vouchers, an extra page would print out with a coupon on it.

When you book a package, they usually mention a "souvenir" ticket. That's the plastic ticket. But in my experience, when you buy a ticket at the ticket booths it's just paper (like WDW APs, I hear, LOL...though the DL ones are actual paper, rather than the plastic/paper mix of WDW). And if you get an AP (or upgrade to one) then you're back to plastic again.

I was able to purchase my tickets ahead of time on disneyland.com but I purchased multi-day hoppers. I selected will-call pick up because I was terrified of my mail man messing up !! I hope the line at will call will not be bad.

Was there no option to print your voucher? Hopefully someone will stop by with the time Will Call opens for you! :goodvibes

For others, as far as I have read, if you just print your voucher (e-ticket) you just go to the gates and they switch your piece of paper for a ticket right there.

Yeah, there was an option for print-out at home. But I kept thinking how will I stick that paper into the fastpass machine, then I thought dang I would have to go to guest services and wait in a line to request a change to a plastic ticket. I got all worked up and just decided I would go to will call and pick them up. Now I am thinking maybe I should have asked here first !! Oh well live and learn. We will not be arriving until around 11:00 on our first day (and we have 5) so I think I can handle a little wait !!!

Ask about the cupon Before they do the AP transaction. AS I was re-newing last July and got the $20 gift card. AS I was supposed to get that much off for renewing but because I did it before the actual date they gave me a gift card.

My mom the lady was snooty and said we needed to ask for it first and she just handed my mom $20 cash..
