Last year I bougth 13 -10 day MYW park hooper non expire tickets from the MWR at the Char. navy base in SC.
Or so I thought! After 3 different trys, I finally got the tickets. And I noticed that they did NOT say non expire( or maybe hopper.... can't remember). I was told by the MWR director that I did have the correct tickets....
Well we all got down to WDW and sure enought, I was right! So it cost us $$$$ more....
When we got home I contacted the MWR office and one worker said "TO bad, you still saved money...". The dirctor said she would check and get back to me. Haven't eard from her, I am about to call the Military Fraud Waste and Abuse line and report them.
So, the moral is, you can get great prices from the MWR offices, BUT you need to make sure you know what you want and don't take the MWR peoples word for any thing.
And yes, this was last year and MYW tickets were only out for a few months, the MWR office said they did not recieve training for themand wouldn't till this Jan... about a year after they came out! You can save money.
